What we’re about
Pathfinder and Starfinder Society, the organized play arm of the Pathfinder and Starfinder RPGs, are thriving in Baltimore! Join us at a variety of locations around Baltimore as we continue to Explore, Report, and Cooperate across the Inner Sea, the world of Golarion, and the whole galaxy!
About Organized Play
In an organized play campaign, your character exists in a common setting shared by thousands of other gamers worldwide. You can take your character to any public Organized Play event anywhere in the world, and while the Game Master and your companions might change every time you play, your character advances as normal.
Over time, campaigning in an organized play environment offers a uniquely immersive experience, as your diverse companions add depth and character to the campaign world. It's also a great way to get in touch with other local gamers, meet new people, and play regularly without all the prep work and scheduling of a traditional campaign. Your local regional coordinator (also called a Venture-Captain or Venture-Lieutenant) can assist you in finding or setting up your own Organized Play event.
How do I get started?
All Organized Play players must register themselves and their characters online. When you register, you'll receive an official Organized Play Number. Keep your Organized Play Number handy and bring it with you to every OP event you attend. Paizo uses this number to record the adventures your character has completed and the XP and gold they have gained.
If you just want to jump right in and don't want to worry about all that until you've had a chance to play, a pre-generated character can be provided for you at your first game.
Where can I play?
Once you've got an Organized Play Number and have created your character, you're ready to play your first Pathfinder or Starfinder Society adventure! The easiest way to find a local game is to join this Meetup and RSVP for one of the upcoming Meetups on this site with an advertised level range for a level 1 character. The level range will be listed at the end of the Meetup title in parenthesis such as (1-2),(1-4) or (3-6).
What do I have to bring?
At a minimum, you'll need a character sheet with all of your character information. You'll also need to know your Organized Play Number (it's a good idea to write it somewhere on your character sheet), a set of 7 polyhedral dice, a pencil, a 1-inch scale miniature or token to represent your character on a combat grid. Other players may be able to lend you dice or a miniature for the gaming session if you don't have any, but eventually, you'll want to get a set of your own. The only thing left needed is a desire to roleplay and have fun!
I hope to see you at the gaming table soon,

Quest 11: A Parchment Tree
A Pathfinder Society Quest designed for 1st- through 4th-level characters. In the nation of Qadira, Esmayl ibn Qaradi calls for Pathfinders to assist in what should be a simple genealogy verification. Multiple parties are heavily invested in the results that might be revealed by this family tree, however, and things won't be as simple as sifting through some old family records. As thieves and nobles vie to control history itself, the PCs will need to fend off violence and deceptions as they follow the branches of an ancient family tree.
Quest 21: Infernal Infiltration
A repeatable Pathfinder Society Quest designed for 1st- through 4th-level characters. Some disgruntled citizens in Kintargo, who preferred things under Chelaxian rule, have stolen into some very sensitive information concerning the Pathfinder Society's trade dealings and routes. In the hands of enemies, this could put many agents at risk. Cheliax barely tolerates the Society on a good day, and if these thieves-who-would-be-spies can get the encrypted information into the hands of real Chelaxian intelligence operatives, Cheliax would likely relish its ability to do incalcuable harm. It's up to the PCs to infiltrate the theives' base of operations and steal the info back before these rabble rousers can send it off. Keeping things quiet will be key, though, as the heads of Supplies and Procurement definitely don't want to tip them off to what they really have.
