Super Fun Run: Lake Merced Christmas Relays!

Hey all! If you're interested in joining one of our Christmas Relay teams this year, let me know. I'll be submitting our registration within the next week. It's super fun, though sometimes cold, windy, and wet. Each team has four members. Each member runs one lap around Lake Merced (~4.5 mi).

COST?

• $35 (per team you're on).

WHY JOIN US?

• The best parts...bonding with friends, hanging with other teams, cheering, running around a cool lake, partying as my stereo is blasting, drinking other team's coffee, and lots of places to eat afterwards!
• The worst parts...waiting around in the cold for your leg to start or waiting in the cold for your team to finish. But there's lots of solutions for that: run more than one leg, just keep running, or dance in our party canopy!

***Race Day Info!***

1. I'm asking that you try to arrive at 8:30 AM so you can meet your team members, organize the order of your run, and give me time to explain stuff about the event.
2. If you arrive early, you might be able to park in the parking lot. Otherwise, plan on parking along the street (or across the street) and just walking into the parking lot.
3. We are meeting under the "PTR" canopy in the parking lot of the race. You can look out for me or look out for a canopy with streams of blue painters tape flapping in the wind, or just listen for the source of fun dance music. :-)
4. Bring something to keep you warm and dry as you wait your team members to run their legs. You might also want to bring a camp chair.
5. I will have some snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring whatever you might need for our 2+ hrs together.
6. You can try to Meetup message me with questions Sunday morning. FYI, it's usually hard to get a hold of me with the hectic chaos of race morning though.
