Super Fun Moonlight Los Altos Trail Run!

Join us for a super fun Tuesday evening trail run through the Los Altos Pathways Trails! Bring a headlamp, and if you really want to join the party, bring your coolest LED running vest for a running rave extravaganza. This moderately hilly 5.5 mile trail trek from the top of Westwind Barn down to the bottom of Moody Road and around to the Artemis Ginston Trail, with our only major hill being less than 1/4 mile up the "Climb of Courage." Weather permitting, we'll have a gorgeous moonlight sky full of stars and a skyline view of Silicon Valley.

We all start at the Westwind Community Barn parking lot which is off of Altamont. The parking is off the road and may be a little hard to find in the dark, so please give yourself time to find us. Don't worry about speed. From here, we have a nice downhill jaunt through the Packard Trail and eventually make our way to the bottom of Moody Rd. We'll follow the Los Altos Pathways trail along Moody Rd until we connect to the Artemis Ginzton Trail which will take us to the "Climb of Courage." After a brief detour in the neighborhood we'll connect up with the Pathways Trail alongside Altamont which will take us back to our cars. FYI, route may change depending on consensus. :-)
