What we’re about
Have you lost your beloved pet?
Are you feeling alone with no one to share your pain and loss with?
Do you have no idea what to do with your grief?
Do you want to connect with people who understand what you’re going through?
If so, this friendly, supportive, and compassionate Pet Loss Support Group is here for you. It’s a safe space for anyone who has lost a pet and is grieving 💛
Your precious companion has actually guided you here for a reason 🌈
Pet loss is real and just as painful as losing a human loved one, a fact that not everyone understands. This is a supportive group where you can grieve and offer support without judgment.
Come, bring pictures of your beloved pet, tell stories, and grieve with people who understand what you’re going through and can help support you.
I hope that one day you'll feel stronger and be able to look back on the beautiful life you shared with your adored animal companion, but one step at a time. There's no timeline for grief and no right or wrong way to grieve.
Why I Created This Group
In February 2023 my heart shattered when I lost Tilly, my 13-year-old Yorkie. Tilly was my best friend and the love of my life 🐶
At the time I felt many people (especially non-pet parents) didn't understand my pain and I felt so alone.
As a result of this isolating feeling, I decided to create this group to support others. My mission is to reach as many people as possible with compassion and understanding so that no one goes through the pain of losing a pet alone.
So, please remember that you’re NOT alone. Join me and new friends to help you get through this challenging time. We’re here to support you with your pet loss journey 🐶🐈
I look forward to meeting you soon.
Oh, and please remember this… your pet only wants the BEST for you, today and always, so please be kind to yourself 💛
Please note - I’m not a trained counsellor, therapist, or psychologist. I’m just like you - a grieving pet parent and I created this group so you have a safe space to share your feelings about your pet loss journey.
