The Stoic virtues

Details

What are the key ingredients of a good life? The Stoics identified 4 cardinal virtues: wisdom, courage, moderation and justice, and believed that working to embody these principles is the best, indeed only, path to a good life.
Tonight’s discussion will look at what each of these virtues mean and how we can work towards adding them in to our lives. We will also discuss whether the virtues really are all that is needed for a good life, as the Stoics believed.
