What we’re about
The Pittsburgh .NET User Group is a community-driven group for area .NET developers to learn about features of the .NET framework and also to learn about ways that others are using the .NET language, either for business or personal projects. We're also a group that promotes software craftsmanship and well architected solutions. All skill levels are welcome.
If you're interested in speaking at or sponsoring our group, please reach out to us on meetup for details.

Increase Observability, Resiliency, and Dev Usability with .NET Aspire
Find and squash bugs faster with .NET Aspire's powerful new dashboard that offers improved observability into web apps. Boost fault tolerance while setting to their ideal values those startup knobs you've been meaning to get to thanks to Aspire's new default project. Simplify app startup, standardize documentation, and reduce dev onboarding with the new App Host project. These are just a few of the benefits of .NET Aspire.
This session will walk you through Microsoft's latest recommended approach for building distributed, cloud-first applications, emphasizing enhancing simpler existing apps as well. You'll learn *exactly* what happens when you install Aspire and how you can customize it. You'll learn how .NET Aspire simplifies adding performance-enhancing components like Redis. Most importantly you'll learn why building scalable micro-services architectures can be hard, but how Aspire can improve it.
