Welcome to Friendsday Night!
This event is a casual gaming group featuring board game & party game fun. Feel free to bring games if you'd like, but we also have a reasonable library to choose from if you don't feel like lugging boxes up and down the hills of New West. Drop in to play games with fellow nerds in a cozy atmosphere with cheap food & drinks!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• $2 Venue Fee (FEE IS INCREASING TO $5 ON DEC. 6TH! This is to accommodate for cost of board games and extra venue expenses**)**
• Venue capacity is 25 people
• All ages are welcome, but minors under the age of 13 must be supervised by an appropriate guardian
• Located at 527 Front Street Mews, New Westminster, BC, Canada
• This site does not have safe access for wheelchairs
• Door opens at 6:00 pm on Fridays, and the venue closes at 11:30 pm

Play casually in a beginner-friendly environment, or join a tournament and compete against seasoned fighters.
Gaming setups are available for: Street Fighter 6, Rivals of Aether II, Project +, Kirby Air Ride, Mario Kart Double Dash, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, Tekken 6, Tekken 8, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Mario Kart Wii, Them's Fightin' Herds, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Guilty Gear Strive, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Skullgirls: 2nd Encore, Bomberman 64: The Second Attack!, Goldeneye 007, Smash 64, Smash Melee, Smash Brawl, Smash 4, Smash Ultimate, and more; however, we certainly won't complain if you bring more to share! (Please bring your own controllers if you can). Learn the basics, practice your combos, and join us in a cozy atmosphere with cheap food and drinks!

Welcome to our weekly Art Practice Night!
This event is a casual art group where you can spend time brushing up your skills and meeting other art hobbyists! This event series is open to everyone regardless of skill level- whether you're an industry professional looking to meet more artist friends, or a beginner looking for critique on stickmen doodles, all art lovers are welcome!

• All mediums welcome! (Drawing, painting, sculpture, digital, miniatures, crafts, cosplay, knitting, embroidery, writing, etc)
• Weekly art practice nights are held in person at Douglas College. We may occasionally run online in a voice chat, so keep an eye out for those in our Discord Server!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Drop-in welcome! We generally run until 10 pm.
• Weekly Meeting Classroom will be communicated via discord at the time of the event. If you plan to drop in well after 6, please join the discord to know where to find us!
• Address: Douglas College in New Westminster (700 Royal Ave, New Westminster). The entrance is across the street from Sora Sushi!
• Directions: From New Westminster Skytrain Station, cross the street at the corner of Carnarvon and 8th, walk up 8th passed Victoria street, and take a right onto the stairs leading up to the campus west entrance. We'll try to meet on either the third or fourth floors, which can be reached from inside by continuing up the stairs towards the left corner of the entrance atrium.
• Remember to bring your own supplies! While people are often happy to share, we may not always have the materials you need, or simply not enough to go around.
