Weekly Art Hangout

Welcome to our weekly Art Practice Night!
This event is a casual art group where you can spend time brushing up your skills and meeting other art hobbyists! This event series is open to everyone regardless of skill level- whether you're an industry professional looking to meet more artist friends, or a beginner looking for critique on stickmen doodles, all art lovers are welcome!

• All mediums welcome! (Drawing, painting, sculpture, digital, miniatures, crafts, cosplay, knitting, embroidery, writing, etc)
• Weekly art practice nights are held in person at Douglas College. We may occasionally run online in a voice chat, so keep an eye out for those in our Discord Server!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Drop-in welcome! We generally run until 10 pm.
• Weekly Meeting Classroom will be communicated via discord at the time of the event. If you plan to drop in well after 6, please join the discord to know where to find us!
• Address: Douglas College in New Westminster (700 Royal Ave, New Westminster). The entrance is across the street from Sora Sushi!
• Directions: From New Westminster Skytrain Station, cross the street at the corner of Carnarvon and 8th, walk up 8th passed Victoria street, and take a right onto the stairs leading up to the campus west entrance. We'll try to meet on either the third or fourth floors, which can be reached from inside by continuing up the stairs towards the left corner of the entrance atrium.
• Remember to bring your own supplies! While people are often happy to share, we may not always have the materials you need, or simply not enough to go around.
