Stoic Everyday Challenges
Details
Interested in learning how Stoic principles can foster practical solutions to common real-life problems? Wish to respond to everyday challenges with wisdom and presence of mind? In this meeting you will have an opportunity to describe a difficulty you have experienced or might experience and receive suggestions on how you might respond to it from a Stoic perspective. Examples of challenging situations include a betrayal by a friend or significant other, a family confrontation over differing political views, or someone being excessively rude to you. Please feel free to come with a situation to discuss, or simply come to learn how you can put Stoic theory into practice in your daily life. Disclaimer: The purpose of these meetups is to educate and inform and not to provide psychological or other professional advice or services. The views, information, or opinions expressed during these sessions are solely those of the individuals involved.
