Join us for the 8th Philadelphia Hardware Meetup! Come join us to hear from our guest speakers as well as share what’s on your desk. We always have time for an open mic.
Hardware Meetups happen across 30+ cities monthly and help bring together different professionals to connect and meet each other.
We have a great set of guest speakers
- Greg Sampson is Founder and CEO of Courtside Video Entertainment, the creator of innovative in-arena entertainment platforms for high-value sports fans. He is a senior-level Engineering Executive with over 25 years of experience, excels in leading large teams in industrial, consumer, and medical product development. He has a proven track record of delivering innovative technical solutions for innovative startups and Fortune 500 tech companies that consistently exceed customer expectations and achieving market leadership. A former championship competitive swimmer, Mr. Sampson combined his sports and technology passion to found FanCheer Interactive Inc., a mobile platform for real-time fan engagement.
- Cory Lord is an Electronics Engineer with a specialty in wireless power delivery and communication. He is co-founder of VivoKey, where he designs implantable technologies that allow users to securely merge their digital and physical identity. Cory also provides contract hardware development services and technical training to a variety of startups and individuals through his company Protopoint.
Agenda
- 5:00-5:30pm: Arrive, mingle, grab some food and a beverage
- 5:30-5:45pm: Opening remarks
- 5:45-7:00pm: Guest Speakers + Q&A with the audience
- 7:00-7:30pm: Open Mic. Anyone in attendance can give a demo or short presentation on their hardware product, startup, or project.
- 7:30-8:00pm: Mix, mingle, and close out the night.
