Experience the magic of New Year’s Day in an unrivaled century old California tradition, and celebration, on the streets of Pasadena! – a festival of flowers, music, and sports unequaled anywhere else in the world.
Here are the details….

Rose Parade 2025- the parade starts at 8.00 sharp. The location we are planning to watch from is about a mile from the start location. Let's plan to park cars at Sierra Madre villa station and then ride the metro rail towards Long Beach and get off at Memorial Park metro station.( I have a few Metrorail passes that you can borrow, else ride is $ 1.75)
After getting off the station walk south 2 blocks to arrive at Colorado Blvd. Ideally it would be nice to position yourself near the Apple store on either side of Colorado Blvd. It would be a good idea to carry a chair for yourself. Dress warm and in layers as it would be cold in the morning. If there is interest, after parade we could go out for a quick lunch in the area.

Please get there at 7.30 am to watch the parade from the start. I cannot emphasize enough how awesome this experience is!
