We aim to be an oasis of inspiration and support for Arizona's aspiring, established, and 'I'm-not-really-a-writer' writers.
We create and host low and no-cost resources to help Arizona writers generate work, build skills, share their stories, and connect with the vibrant writing community across the Valley.

You can work on any writing project you want, but we hope you'll be working on your submission for the 2025 anthology from Phoenix Oasis Press. The submission window opens March 1, 2025!
What to expect at a POP in & write virtual accountability session:
- The host will share any announcements, keep the group on track, and will stay on the meeting for the full 1.5 hours
- First 10 minutes: people join and get settled
- Next hour: quiet (muted) writing time
- Last 20 minutes: writing chat (optional, and you are never asked to share what you wrote)
How to join the virtual session:
- Register on Meetup so you have it on your calendar.

- Submissions accepted March 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025.
- The window WILL close early if we reach our maximum submission count.
The Phoenix Oasis Press 2025 Anthology project is themed Curiosity.
- Curiosity killed the cat, started revolutions, landed us on the moon, fueled great love stories, and led heroes astray.
- Curiosity is lightning in the dark, a magnetic pull, a magic doorway, and a social media rabbit hole leading where no one expected.
