What we’re about
This is a Photographers Community: an Artists Salon, in the model of the 1920s Paris Cafes, a Modern-Day Algonquin Round Table for Photographers.
For over a year now, I've created a weekly artists' salon. A place like La Closerie des Lilas, the cafe in Paris where writers Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, Man Ray, Ernest Hemingway, and F. Scott Fitzgerald hung out in the 1920s. Like The Algonquin Hotel round table writers.
We get about 10 people--some regulars, some visitors--who sit and chat and show photography. And eat and drink. Lisa, our waitress, takes good care of everyone. It's a great time and we hang til about 8pm.
It's a place to gather, regularly! Every Tuesday. To talk art. Show photos. Bring stories. Inspire each other.
We are THE PLACE where Colorado photographers gather together.
