- Winterlights -Naumkeag 2024!Cancelled
TICKETS ARE ON SALE. We had such a great time last year.
With over 100,000 dazzling lights at this Massachusetts gardens, Winterlights is a holiday light display that can’t be beat. Naumkeag is a public garden and 48-acre, historic, family home in the Berkshires. Called an “architectural masterpiece”, the house has 44-rooms where multiple generations of the Choate family lived from the 1880s until daughter Mabel Choate bequeathed it to trustees in 1958.
Naumkeag’s number one ranking was a part of Fodor’s Travel’s list of the best spots to see holiday lights in all 50 states.
Please acquaint yourself thoroughly with the website as you must purchase a ticket as soon as possible and decide which parking lot you will take a shuttle from. Tickets can be purchased at Winterlights Naumkeag
Please read:Parking for Winterlights - Choose the 4:45 pm ticket. Parking Zone A (your ticket) - will be located in downtown Stockbridge at designated parking spaces on both sides of Town Hall - located at 50 Main Street, Stockbridge MA. If that parking area is full, please feel free to use any parking along Main Street or Elm Street in Stockbridge.
- Bus pick-up and guest check-in for Parking Zone A will be located at the Stockbridge Information Booth between 37 and 39 Main Street, across the street from the Stockbridge Library on Main Street. Please have your tickets ready for check-in, either printed or digital.
- The first shuttle will leave downtown Stockbridge at 4:30PM (for the 4:30 ticket) and run every 5-10 minutes through the run of the show. The last shuttle will depart this parking area to Naumkeag no later than 7:45PM.
- To ensure a positive experience for guests, we ask that you arrive within 15 minutes of your designated time slot. For example, guests with 4:45pm tickets should arrive to the shuttle pick-up location between 4:30 and 5:45. Early/Late arrivals may need to wait to accommodate those with correct timed tickets.
At this point it seems most people are riding out on their own so lets meet at 4:30 at the bus shuttle area in parking zone A and then regroup at the entrance. Please note the driving directions are for parking zone A. If you have a different lot please check your ticket for location.
We will make reservations for dinner afterwards. Likely to be AMICI again since we had so much fun there last year

- Christman SanctuaryStuyvesant Plaza, Albany, NY
A highlight of the Christman Sanctuary is the Bozenkill, with its 30-foot waterfall and numerous lesser cascades. We will hike less than a 1/2 mile to these falls from the parking lot. I've long wanted to see these falls in winter. You MUST have microspikes and a pole to do this short hike. There is a short but somewhat steep descent to the falls and will be slippery in winter. Dress warm and bring hand warmers. We will meet at Stuyvesant Plaza and park in front of Bountiful Bread. There is very limited parking there and we will need to carpool depending on how many people sign up. I will check if it is even plowed in winter once we get some snow. We will spend a couple of hours there and have lunch at Bountiful Bread when we return.
Meet 9:30 - Stuyvesant Plaza, 1475 Western Ave., Albany NYChristman Sanctuary: [Location of Christman Sanctuary](3281 Schoharie Tpke, Delanson, NY 12053)
PS. I also posted this on the Photography connection FB page. Please sign up here too. Sorry for any confusion.
