What we’re about
Calling All Piano Players: This group is for people who enjoy playing the piano and are looking for an opportunity to play for others in an informal and supportive setting. The group welcomes players of all skill levels and all styles of music. Whether you are a beginner working on simple classical pieces, or an advanced jazz pianist, this group gives you the opportunity to play in front of a group of like-minded people who enjoy playing the piano.
Some members will play a partially completed piece of music and that is OK. Often, a member will not have time to prepare a complete piece of music and this is OK. I hope to see you at one of our up-coming meetings.
Here are a few notes about our meetings:
We usually meet Friday evening or Saturday afternoon.
I have a Steinway model "M"
I serve appetizers, soft drinks, beer and wine.
My living room can accommodate 22 people, so the meetings at my house are limited to 22.
There is no fee.
If you sign up for a meeting but cannot attend, please remove your name so that someone else may attend.
I have 2 cats, so please keep this in mind if you have pet allergies.
