Welcome to Melbourne social pickleball. Let's play pickleball in the city. Join the waitlist, find the link in the comment section, make the payment, comment paid, and get your shoes ready for the event.

✅PRIOR TO THE SESSION✅

• 1️⃣New Member, please find the comment section and hit like ❤️ on my comment so you get notified* when I post the payment link.
• 2️⃣Pay** and Reply "Paid" to my comment where I have posted the payment link.

*The payment link will be posted in the comment section of the respective event. The only form of Payment is through the link provided. No Cash. No Pay ID.

*Before buying a ticket, register your email, sign up, verify your email, log in, then use the link again, add to cart, go to the cart, and make payment.
**RSVP on meetup doesn't confirm your spot; payment does.
**Please pay at least 24 hours before the event so we can plan the event.
#Payment link and Paid Status on meetup are not linked. They are updated manually.
##Sometimes, money is debited at your end but not reflected on our end. So don't forget to drop the message "Paid".

• Multiple sessions are available; you can pay for multiple sessions. You can also comment on your time slot with the text 'paid' in the respective comment section for future reference.
• RMIT Pickleball Club is a Not-for-profit Student Club at the university level. The contribution fee is $10 per person per session. Discounts may apply based on standard criteria such as membership, early bird registration, or special promotions.

✅CANCELLATION✅

• Full refunds can only be arranged due to event cancellations, including poor weather conditions or court availability.
• Credits for future events are available with mutual agreement only in case of event cancellation.
• No refunds for change of mind, inability to attend, or no-shows

✅ON THE DAY ✅

• Participants must complete and sign the player waiver before starting any activity (if not previously completed).
• New Players must find a host and introduce themselves.
• Regular players must sign the attendance sheet at the entrance.
• Please assist the event host(s) with setting up/closing the session.

✅WHAT TO BRING✅

• Playing equipment Paddles (racket) and balls will be provided.🏓🎾
• Wear comfortable sports / running shoes. Outdoor Tennis shoes are perfect 👟
• Bring your own water/energy drink & towel
• A Water Fountain & Public Toilet are available 200 m from the court; check the ticket confirmation email for more details.

📢**Don't hesitate to bring your friends!**📢
They can either RSVP on Meetup and get their tickets individually. Alternatively, you can RSVP with a +1 Guest on Meetup and obtain two tickets from the RMIT Pickleball Club Website together. 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

📢Skill Level: Everybody Welcome📢
This event is open for all ages, genders, and skill levels.
First-timer, beginner, and intermediate players are expected.
Advance players are more than welcome to come and join.
Minors under 18 are recommended to be accompanied by a guardian.

📢**Basic Game Rules:**📢
-Serve always starts from the right side.
-The serving team swaps positions each time they earn points.
-Unlike badminton, points are only earned when serving.
-Games are typically played to 11 points, win by 2, capped at 15 points.
