Picnic & Paddle

Join us for our 15th kayaking & clean up event at our favorite & flagship site - Helen Mellon Schmidt Park, just south of St. Augustine!

❓️ What?

We will be cleaning the lagoon at the front of the park this time, as well as the "secret beach" located near by.

📍Where?

Hellon Mellon Schmidt Park, meet in the FIRST parking lot located on the right directly after entering the park.

📅 When?

Saturday September 21st, from 9am until Noon.

We provide our volunteers refreshments & vessels at no cost on a first come first serve basis.

You are all welcome to bring your own vessels, a snack to share, & a friend!

Join us for an adventure in the Ocala National Forest!

There's a public boat ramp off of CR 445, near Alexander Springs, that needs our help!

We plan to show this boat ramp some much needed TLC, before hitting the water together to explore the beautiful Spring Creek as a group.

This excursion does involve a 1 mile upstream paddle, so anticipate a moderate workout....but trust us, it is worth it.

This run is safe for paddle boards & inflatable vessels.

Additionally, being located in the heart of the Ocala National Forest, you will be encountering wildlife. We will do a brief rundown on proper waterway ettiquette when encountering wildlife before launching together.

As always, we will be providing clean up supplies, refreshments & kayaks to volunteers on a first come first serve basis.
