Welcome to the Pikes Peak Hiking Buddies!

We just can't help it, we love to hike! The fresh air, awesome views, great conversation, and serendipitous finds keep us enthralled and coming back for more.  

Not only do we enjoy hiking, but we also like art, music, coffee, bowling, and anything else up our alley. Come out to things, or plan your own. That's what this group is all about. 

I would encourage anyone who just wants to meet great people, and expand their circle of friends to experience some fun activities together to look at us and join our group! It is not the intention of this group to form a "dating" group, what we really want is to meet friends and have fun together in a safe, non-threatening environment! And so far it's working!  I have only received one complaint in the 4 years I have been in charge.  

Privacy: I ask a few general questions when signing up to gauge the interests and get a general idea what we could host as a group.  The questions cover interests, marital status, age, availability, and if you have a Facebook account (as a survey).  These answers are also available to our members from your profile. You may edit your answers at any time, I can not do that for you.  No other personal information is shared and no emails are readily accessible.  However, a member can contact you via Meetup's messaging feature. If you have any concerns about your privacy, you may choose not to answer some or any of the questions.
