What we’re about
Even though Republicans outnumber Democrats in Florida, and especially in Pinellas County, sometimes it doesn't feel like because of how vocal the closed minded critics are all around us. Finding and meeting people from the Republican Social Group was like a breath of fresh air and I'm hoping I can resume where that group left off to help like minded individuals meet up and share life together.
The main goal for this group is to meet and make friends with opportunities to hang out, share meals, and find fun ways to pass the time. We'll also try to organize get togethers for major political events like the release of Matt Walsh's film Am I Racist and the upcoming debates.
I personally will only be able to organize an event about once a month but please reach out if you have ideas for get togethers or wish to be an organizer.

This is a great way to support local businesses and get some walking in. I personally prefer getting exercise while being able to enjoy the sights and sounds around me. Usually there are about 500 vendors. We will most likely go somewhere for lunch after.
We will meet at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Truth Sculpture (triangle shaped sculpture off the water in Vinoy Park). I had to google the name of the sculpture. :-)

Although we are meeting in front of the truth sculpture, I would suggest parking at North Shore Park at 901 North Shore Drive NE, St Petersburg, FL 33701. It's free and no restrictions on how long you can park. Otherwise, metered parking is available.
Please be courteous to event planners and guests and be on time and update your RSVP if your plans change.
