Hi !
Let's get together and practice playing Real Book jazz standards in a low pressure supportive environment; this group is intended for student level players who are interested in improving their small group playing skills and would like to get together with like minded others to take turns choosing tunes & practice reading, comping, improvising, and playing with others. We did this a few years ago and it proved to be a great opportunity to meet people who enjoy jamming the jazz standards. We can do tunes outside the Real Books as well if people bring sheet music.
Hal Leonard "The Real Book" volume 1, 6th edition. We can expand to volume 2 if people are interested.
