If you like the look of a social but you're worried that it doesn't look like people have confirmed they are attending via meetups, don't worry, we regularly sell out socials and if you are unsure how many people are attending just ask.
Hey,
We're Jen & Sarah aka pip social! We've been running social events for single people in Edinburgh and Glasgow for the last year and now expanding into new cities!
We are on a mission to unite single people and 'make being single something to shout about'. We are not exclusively a dating business, we want people to come along to our socials to boost confidence, feel good, make friends and also have a chance of finding that romantic connection!
Our socials are NOT speed dating. The are designed to be relaxed, casual and fun.

All I want for Christmas...is a pip social Ceilidh!! Well, we do make dreams come true....
For anyone who's new to pip social, you should know that our mission is to celebrate single people and make them feel amazing. We are not exclusively a dating company, we're all about getting single people together to hangout and have fun.
Following the astounding feedback on our pip social ceilidhs in Edinburgh, we are bringing it to GLASGOW!!
So, prepare to celebrate the start of the festive season and join us at Glasgow's biggest singles ceilidh party!
We will be dancing the night away on Thursday 5th December at the The Vennel, Box Hub. Whether you are a seasoned ceilidh dancer or a complete beginner, our pro ceilidh band (Da Hooley) will be there to walk everyone through each dance.
For anyone who's new to pip social, you should know that our mission is to celebrate single people and make them feel amazing. We are not exclusively a dating company, we're all about getting single people together to hangout and have fun.
Things to Note:
- Doors open at 7.30pm
- First drop tickets (only) will receive a FREE welcome drink
- Dress code - it's Christmas so let's dress up! Kilts and dress to impress but remember those dancing shoes!Riding solo? 75% of people come to our socials solo, so you'll be in great company!

Meet new people and keep fit! Winner.
We have teamed up with our favourite Edinburgh PT, Josh from Stratton Athletic Movement, who puts us through our paces every week. Josh will be hosting a 60 min functional fitness training session for all you Pipsters on Sunday 3rd November.
What to expect:
- Meet at the PT Hub just before 10am
- Group training session will last around 60 mins
- Afterwards, we will grab a coffee after somewhere nearby (not included in ticket price)So, lace up your trainers, grab your gym gear and we will see you there!
Riding solo? 75% of people come to our socials solo, so you'll be in great company! Plus, there's no chance of your mate cramping your style or stitching you up with an embarrassing story, so we're pretty sure you'll have a better time without them anyway!

We kindly ask you to please let us know if you are unable to attend so that we can allocate your ticket to another customer. Quizzing skills better than your flirting skills? This is the social for you.
For anyone who's new to pip social, you should know that our mission is to celebrate single people and make them feel amazing. We are not exclusively a dating company, we're all about getting single people together to hangout and have fun.
Here's a brief run down of what to expect:
6.30pm - arrive, grab yourself a drink and settle in at your allocated table
7.00pm - let's get quizzing! You'll get the chance to move tables so that you can speak to everyone
9.30pm - once the quiz is over, there's loads of time for mingling until lateSo, if that sounds up your street, get your thinking cap on and join us!
Riding solo? 75% of people come to our socials solo, so you'll be in great company! Plus, there's no chance of your mate cramping your style or stitching you up with an embarrassing story, so we're pretty sure you'll have a better time without them anyway! We'll give you a warm welcome on the door and then we'll allocate you to a table so you can get straight into socialising with your new teammates. The quiz is the perfect icebreaker, so we can assure you any first-social nerves will soon be gone!
