Hello, I'm Erwin Germain and I love the mountains. But when I moved from Europe to Colorado, it was painful to be in my car alone, next to so many others wanting to reach the same places. Also, the cost of owning a car is continuously on the rise, I didn’t have any friends, and we have a climate emergency.

So what if you could get paid for driving somewhere you’re already going? Or reserve a cheap ride to your favorite places?

This is now possible with our mobile app TreadShare, which links drivers and riders heading in the same direction so they can carpool in the driver’s personal vehicle, while sharing the associated costs. You will even make friends along the way!

Riders reserve their seat upfront by paying a fare, or gas money, that is transferred to the driver once the ride is completed, minus a commission kept by TreadShare.

Our target customer is the outdoor enthusiast in the US who need to meet other like-minded individuals to share an activity together and the costs of driving.

Our competition is public transportation, private and shared shuttles, and other carpooling initiatives throughout the country. Our competitive advantage is a well designed app with key features that makes carpooling easy.
