At our next Write the Docs Pittsburgh meetup, we'll explore an Intro to GitHub: No Terminal Required. Led by remote presenter Jessica Parsons, this hybrid workshop will cover the key differences between Git and GitHub, how to set up and customize your GitHub profile, and the basics of repositories. You'll learn how to work with files directly in the GitHub web UI, make your first pull request, and discover how to find and choose projects and communities to contribute to. Whether you're new to version control or looking to enhance your GitHub skills, this session is perfect for you. Come ready to learn and leave ready to contribute to open source projects!

For the most efficient hands-on help, bring a laptop and attend in person at Code&Supply. Virtual attendees are welcome to follow along from home, but limited help will be available for troubleshooting during the presentation.
