"Pittsburgh Makes Merry: Gilded Age Holiday Traditions"
From East End mansions to the Woods Run settlement house, local historian Sue Morris explores how Pittsburghers from all walks of life celebrated the holiday season during America's Gilded Age of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Join us for this illustrated talk and refreshments of the season.

The East Liberty Valley Historical Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising public awareness of and encouraging scholarship about the history of the neighborhoods of the East Liberty Valley, including East Liberty, Garfield, Stanton Heights, Shadyside, Lincoln-Lemington, Larimer, Highland Park, Morningside, Friendship, Homewood-Brushton, Belmar and Point Breeze.
The talk is free and no registration is required (just show up!). But please consider supporting the activities of the Historical Society with a tax deductible donation!
