Name: Fast Paced 7-8 Mile Hike at North Park

This will be a physically challenging hike. There will be steep hills (up and down). We'll keep a 3-3.5 mph pace and take very few breaks. Please do not attempt this hike unless you have the stamina to endure prolonged cardio. But if you do have the stamina then it will be fun and there will be some great scenery.

There will be steep hills and regular hills during the hike. There will also be rocks, stream crossings and mud. It's very likely that you'll experience a feeling of invigoration from the air, scenery and exercise. It's possible that you'll feel a sense of accomplishment after finishing the hike. If there is sufficient interest we'll go out for lunch afterwards.

Meet at the Olympia Shelter and we'll do a loop that incorporates part of the Rachel Carson trail and Red&Blue Dot Trails. Look for a maroon Honda CRV.

Bug spray and sunscreen are highly recommended. You should definitely bring water and may want a snack also.
