Weekly Tuesday Meeting: How To Befriend People?
Szczegóły
Typically you have a social life constructed from meeting people you had to meet: family, school, university and work. If you want to meet people outside of them - it starts to get more complicated. You need to have certain social skill habits in order to form relationships with people. If you don't have them - you won't be able to construct relations with people you meet - you will mostly depend on skills of other people.
There is a very interesting framework on how to gain a bigger influence on creating a social life you want.
I will answer during the meeting:
- What are key social habits you need to form to convert people from being a strangers to friends or mates?
- What is the difference between befriending people online (like Meetup or dating apps), in groups with a common goal (like impro/dance/sport classes), in public venues (gym/cafe/restaurants/bars) and public places (streets, public communication, parks)?
- Why for better results you shouldn't behave in a loud and too excessive manner?
- How to get social proof in a venue?
- How to befriend a stranger? Step by step approach.
- Why ten one minute interactions are better than single two hour interaction?
I will explain the following key concepts: exposure effect, low footprint, social proof, commonality, preopening, future projection, time bridge
The meeting will be in a form of a presentation + discussion. There will also be exercises of basic techniques I will mention in the presentation.
The information provided in this event I based on the knowledge I gained from Elevate Your Inner Circle from Elevated Man in Skool course.
Where is the meeting point?
It's in Politechnika Metro. When you leave a subway car you need to head to side with double escalator (entries closer to Pole Mokotowskie/Zdrofit gym/PWC building) and then we will meet in the place you see in the photo.
