What to do when you're stuck at home in the suburbs on dog duty while your family is away gallivanting around Japan? Host a holiday move marathon, obviously. To add a little activity to the festivities, we will utilize my neighborhood park to walk laps and hit the exercise stations along the lap route (weather permitting) in between movies, and will finish off the evening with Oregon Zoo Lights. Come for part or stay for all, whatever works for you. This will also be a great opportunity to do some planning for 2025 events.

* Add yourself to the waitlist if interested; since there is limited space, I will give priority to members that have been active in the group (not too late to join the 12/1 Forest Park hike!)
* Movies are TBD - post a recommendation in the comments
* Big screen home theater viewing
* Dress comfy/cozy and bring rain coat/sneaks for outdoor walking
* Potluck-style snacks/beverages - post what you'll bring in the comments
* I'd be happy to pick up anyone that plans to arrive via Sunset Transit Center
* Buy your own Zoo Lights ticket; I will keep an eye on capacity for the 5:30pm entry time as we'll want to reserve in advance, but also want to wait until we can see a 10-day weather forecast
* Once accepted to the event, I'll reach out with more details (e.g. address) closer to the date.

Tentative itinerary:

* noon - first showing
* 2pm laps for time at Mill Pond Park (45 min.)
* 3pm - second showing
* 5pm - carpool to Sunset Transit Center to park and hop on max light rail to head over to Oregon Zoo Lights
* 5:30pm - Oregon Zoo Lights entry
