What we’re about
Podcast and YouTube Creators Community - Join us in person or on Zoom for our new Meetup Group.
This group is for anyone who has a podcast, creates videos for YouTube, or is thinking of doing either or both and wants to start or grow their show, as well as be part of a community to bounce ideas off of and to share downloads and subscribers with. The meetings will be a hybrid of in-person (in Summit, NJ) and on Zoom.
Why are podcasts important? Hosting a podcast helps one build authority and credibility and position themselves as an expert in their field. Statista estimates that there will be over 100 million podcast listeners in 2024. There are many more reasons too.
Why invest time in this group? We're building a community. We can help each other grow our podcasts and YouTube channels by subscribing, watching, and downloading content, as well as connecting on social media. We also plan to offer members honest feedback on their podcasts from the group and ideas for improvement. And if you don’t have a podcast you can learn from others how to do it right from the beginning. We also plan to have accomplished speakers and to trade best tips from all of our members. Check out our first meeting to see who the award-winning speaker is!
Never done a podcast before? We can help with that too. Organizers Elizabeth and Stacy both have multiple podcasts and can guide you through the process. We can even help you in our studio so you can try it out before you buy expensive equipment, and we have ideas to test the content to see if your topic is of interest.
Join us, all are welcome!

Are you ready to start a podcast? Not sure how to get started? We're here to help!
Join us online as we outline the 10 steps a podcaster needs to take to get started, from concept to published podcast. We'll discuss the pieces you need to put in place to create a great podcast, and where to find software programs that are fairly easy to use to help you get them. We'll discuss our experiences with our podcasts, also the different hosting platforms and different formats.
In November we did a deep dive into monetizing your podcast, in December it's back to basics with how to get started.
If you missed November's event, contact us for access to the video recording.About us:
