What we’re about
We are raising funds for a program that has been such a blessing to my family. The Children's Hospital ARCH (adaptive recreation for children's health) program is one that opens up the opportunity for disabled children to do activities they may not be able to normally! For those of you that don't know...I have 2 disabled sons, one more so than the other, and as their mom I want them to experience a sense of normalcy as I hear their woes and see their struggles daily 😥 and this program give them the opportunity to experience some great activities! So far they have gone sailing, white water rafting, indoor rock climbing, horseback riding, hand biking in the hills and paddle boarding! The winter season will bring skiing and other activities their legs don't fully allow now-and they are stoked! Although my boys can still walk this program helps kids of all levels of disability by adapting the sports to their ability level---it's pretty freaking awesome!! Here's the flier with the event information...SAVE THE DATE! AND INVITE FRIENDS!
