Join them on Monday, November 18 at 4-6pm for the “Science Meets Regions | Poland Polar Science Diplomacy” event organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the U.S. at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center, 555 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C.
You will hear an overview of the global landscape of polar research and related scientific cooperation and international partnerships, including:
How countries such as Poland handle this increasingly contentious topic
Where polar science diplomacy comes to play
What technological and scientific solutions could be used to mitigate relevant issues & improve decision-making at local and global scales
