You don't have to actually drink beer. You can drink whatever you want. But you do have to actually want to change something about the world around you. It can be something small that can be done quickly or something major that could take a while. Think of it as a chance to volunteer, help neighbors, help the community, help animals, etc, but we decide as a group what ways we want to help others. It could be easy - give someone a ride home from the hospital, or bigger, get a traffic light installed at a busy intersection.

We would get together for **Planning Sessions** then execute those plans on **Days of Action**. All the while, eating, chatting, drinking, laughing, and getting to know each other. So think of one thing you always wanted to do to make the world around you a little bit better. Or come with a list of items. While brainstorming, we may come up with even more items. Or just hang out and talk until we come up with more ideas. If you are unable to attend you can just suggest ideas in the message area or send messages directly to me. In a children's book called *Miss. Rumphius*, Alice promised her grandfather to do three things: travel to far away places, to live by the sea, and to make the world a better place. These are things we can all do...together.
