Patty Larkin

Another music event at the Chocolate Church in Bath. I am making this a meet up, but I'm ushering at this event, and wanted to post it.
Patty Larkin has redefined the boundaries of folk-urban pop music with her inventive guitar wizardry and uncompromising lyrics and vocals. Described as “riveting” (Chicago Tribune) and “hypnotic” (Entertainment Weekly), Patty Larkin has captured audiences for over 30 years with her imagination and technical artistry. In her 14th release Bird in a Cage, she mines the intersection of poetry and song, featuring ten notable poets, including five US Poet Laureates, for an innovative and haunting musical collection. Poems are made to be shared aloud, and with Bird, Patty takes up that tradition and sets it aglow.
Leading their own band, Erin has performed at Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and the Newport Folk Festivals. A familiar presence on NPR and the BBC, McKeown’s songs have also appeared in numerous commercials and television shows.
