Portland HUG - Josh Weber building procedural wood shaders for Copernicus

Details
The HUG is getting together on the first Friday in March!
This month, we have a presentation from Josh Weber, who will be sharing some of his latest Copernicus work. He’ll walk us through building a procedural wood shader, covering everything from VEX to OpenCL to Copernicus. If you’ve been curious about the newest toolset under the Houdini umbrella, this is your event!
📅 Date: Friday, March 7th, 2025
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
📍 Location: Steeplejack Brewery, 2400 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232
Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out with Houdini, we want to meet you and learn how you use it. As always, we’ll have our customary raffle for Houdini goodies.
Same location, same room as our previous HUGs, after the presentation we’ll have a live Houdini setup open to anyone who wants to share! If you have questions or want to help with setup, just show up early—we’ll be there.
Same good times—see you there! 🎉
