Want to get in shape and have fun doing it? Looking for a group to train alongside? Looking to push yourself?
Portland Obstacle Race Training Group exist to support one another and train together for obstacle races and endurance races like Spartans, Tough Mudders, etc. We seek to create a positive and encouraging environment that spurs you on to meet your own personal fitness goals.
This group meets regularly to run trails in the Portland area and do basic outdoor strength training.
We also share best practices to prepare for race day including:
-weight training
-healthy eating
-stretching
-obstacle skill development
All fitness levels are welcome, whether you are looking to start with a 5k Obstacle Course Race or are looking to work your way to a 50K Spartan Ultra.

We are currently working towards training for a Spartan Race in Vermont. So we'd love for you to join our team if you'd like or just join us for a jog.
