BLAST FROM THE PAST: Newton Rd---> Springville---> Cannon Trail Run + Coffee!

Back by popular demand, join us for another dazzling route this Saturday in Forest Park! We'll follow Wildwood on the way out, drop down Springville to Leif, then scramble up Cannon Trail as we make our way back to the start for a total of 6.3 glorious miles.

All paces are welcome - run the hills, hike 'em, it's up to you! We'll regroup at major intersections to make sure folks don't get lost.

We'll start running at 9:05 am. Or 9:10 in case of alarm malfunction.

Where:
Follow the map on Google to the top of Newton Road. Meet at the Newton Road parking lot, located a half mile down Newton Road from Skyline. It can be tricky to catch if you haven't been there before but the payoff is big.

Want a shorter route this week? Try this alternate 2.2 mile out and back on the same trails.

What to bring:

• Coffee mug for post-run coffee
• Warm clothes for afterward
• Your grippiest running shoes

Afterwards:
As always, we will bring post-run coffee + snacks (and maybe tea). If you have a snack you want to share, great! But there's no expectation – just bring yourself and come run with us!
