What we’re about
You may have heard of Dungeons and Dragons, or other Table Top Role Playing Games (TTRPGs). I believe, when done right, Dungeons and Dragons is a collaborative story telling experience.
The purpose of this meetup group is to be an audition of sorts. I'm looking to find some players who enjoy role playing - and would like to join a multi-year campaign focusing on making the most extraordinary story we can.
All are welcome to join and/or watch the game play, whether you are brand new to the hobby or if you are a seasoned expert. All I ask is that if you are new, you commit to learning the rules.
Once I find some players who all vibe together, the campaign will begin. Until then, each event will be a one-shot that you can participate in to show off your skills.
Priority consideration will be given to folks who have watched Matt Colville's 46 minute video on role playing. If you have watched it, please tell me if you role play with a small "r" or capital "R".
As for me, I'm a very seasoned DM who has run several successful campaigns. I've played with many different players, and some of them have told me in private that they believe I'm as good as any professional DM out there playing now. I have a knack of weaving a story that makes you feel like you are the main character in an epic novel.
