Is English your second or third language and you want to have more confidence speaking to an English-speaking audience?

If so, Positively Speaking Toastmasters is for YOU!

We are a diverse group with a mix of beginning and advanced speakers.

Our weekly meetings are structured and members have opportunity to take on different roles such as chairperson, grammarian, timer and humourist. There is usually 2-3 prepared speeches that are 5-7 minutes in length. Followed by table topics where members are asked impromptu questions and learn to think on their feet. Finally, every role and speaker receives an evaluation.

We are always looking for new members! Must be 18+ years to join. You are welcome to attend as a guest for free. You are not required to prepare or bring anything as a guest.

We are meeting at Greystone Manor, located at 11667 Ritchie Avenue, Maple Ridge, every Wednesday at 7pm. Please arrive no later than 6:50pm to be admitted into the building (as it is a secure location).
