What we’re about
Would like to help the community of Cochrane, AB by providing a space of inclusion and acceptance to practice English by way of social games. aka Board Games. The idea is to do something fun and casual where conversations occur naturally. Hopefully, food will be involved.
I am a fairly open-minded person, and accepting of others. Those who wish to join and attend must be respectful of others.
You must be kind, caring, open, honest, respectful, generous, humble, and courteous.
Things which will not be accepted are threats, harassment, and hateful language.
I have specifically left out foul language as I am quite the potty mouth, but also I wish to help others learn and understand how to correctly use it and its nuances. Also, I intentionally left out offensive because that's is quite a subjective topic. There are those who intend to offend, and there are lose who go looking for offense. We need to learn about that in our society, and understanding the language behind it and its context is important.
