They typically are self taught and their work discredited by the art establishment as naive and crude. Their work is often an expression of inner turmoil, trauma and mental illness which makes their stories especially fascinating.
Presenting The Outsider Artist aims to be a place to meet others on the same path... network, critique, mindmeld, collaborate and encourage each other.
