How might financial systems be affected by global events of cataclysmic proportions? How do trading algorithms react to negative news? And how do predictive statistical models draw controversy when applied to the climate but not to the S&P 500?

This talk will give a data-driven approach to reconciling financial markets, trading algorithms, and climate change.

In the talk, we will explore how overlooking key data points in a complex financial system can lead to hidden risk.
