2024 Jazz Fest performer, Wendell Harrison is an award winning jazz guru who is known all over the world as a world class jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, recording artist and a jazz entrepreneur. Born in Detroit he's performed with Motown stars Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and the legendary pianist and composer Harold McKinney. Jazz has led him to perform around the world from the Cotton Club, Detroit's Orchestra Hall and thru Europe and Africa, etc.

This is a paid event with tickets $45+. Doors open at 6pm with 2 sets:

He formed Joseph And The Velozians​, a super group of Michigan’s top professional musicians who will perform original and revamped classics.
