Set during a weekly Love and Sex Addiction group who meet in a Church Hall over the course of a politically tumultuous year ending on the 28th April, 2022, the date on which Priti Patel made her “Nationality and Borders Bill” law, I Love You Priti Patel focuses on politically apathetic Esther, who joins the sessions after a series of failed relationships.

### WHAT IS SOUTH ASIAN PLAY READING GROUP?

Each session we will be reading a different play written by a writer of South Asian heritage. These will be a combination of new plays that are at different stages of development in addition to older legacy texts that haven’t been seen for a while and everything else in between.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet and connect with other creatives in a friendly and welcoming artistic environment. Many previous participants have gone on to write their own work which has received successful R&Ds as well as commissions, citing how useful Tara Theatre’s play reading group has been as a part of their professional journeys.

### Meet new people at free creative sessions every Friday.

Meet Your Neighbours is a free programme offering local residents a space to come together and connect at Tara Theatre.

These informal two hour sessions will include facilitator-led creative workshops where you can express your creative spirit, meet new people, enjoy complimentary tea and coffee, play board games and find a book in our reading zone.

All sessions are **free** and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no need to book in advance as these are walk-in sessions.

Sessions run from 10:30–12:30 on Fridays

Man 1 has dug a hole. He likes his hole. Man 2 does not have a hole, but he certainly knows about holes, and he knows this one is not quite right, technically speaking at least. But what neither can deny is there is something very special about this hole, mystical almost.

Trouble brews when their growing friendship is interrupted by Woman 1, envy and jealousy abounds, as each character stakes their claim over the hole, with potentially murderous consequences.
