ProductTank Kraków - #38
Details
Hello Product People !
We are happy to invite you to the next meetup during which you will hear two interesting talks followed by networking part.
Our first guests will be Dariusz Drezno who will visit us with his lecture:
"How to create accessible products and why you can't get away from it"
Sooner or later you will have to approach accessibility seriously. Let me explain why and how to do it. We will go through whole SDLC and explore the methods and tools you can use to inject accessibility into your product DNA and maintain it in a long term. From strategic planning, through design, development, QA to monitoring in production. As a bonus, after the talk, you will have an opportunity to discuss your product accessibility with my colleagues - WCAG auditor, blind end user and accessibility test automation specialist.
BIO:
Dariusz- Co-founder of Accens, consultant and trainer with 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Manager of test, documentation, training and quality teams at Comarch, Apriso, Motorola Solutions, Sabre, Demant. Entrepreneur, lecturer, advised dozens of corporations and startups. Big fan of meetups - co-creator of KraQA - largest tester’s community in Poland and a11yKRK - new initiative, just taking off!
Our second speaker will be Konrad Bujak, who will tell us about "How to stop sprinting in circles, ship work that matters and drink wine"
When everyone claims they're building products 10 times faster with AI (or so they say), it's time to find a faster solution to regular sprints and scrum. Agile has one significant issue, it assumes we'll actually revisit that feature in the near future. about those never-ending project delays from trying to predict the unpredictable (accurate estimates in R&D project)? Enter Shape-up, my go-to project and product management framework for the past three years, changing the way how I think about delivering features and products. And if that's not enough to grab your curiosity, I'll explain why Shape-up is my go-to project management framework in winemaking!
