GEW Munch & Learn - How our "Cultural Lenses" Blur Our Perspectives
Details
It's Global Entrepreneur Week and we will have a different guest speaker every day during the week of November 18th - 22nd.
Please join us for one or all of them!
Suzette Chang will be our guest speaker and her topic is:
Did you Know that Entrepreneurship is a Common Thread For Non Profit and For Profit Organizations? How our "Cultural Lenses" Blur Our Perspectives.
Entrepreneurship is a characteristic for many individuals, regardless if their commitment is to fill a public gap or receive private profit. Choosing to be an entrepreneur is not random. In fact it is often influenced and guided by our cultural and socio-economic environments. It is important to understand this characteristic because our "cultural lenses" often overshadow our understanding of for-and-non-profit spaces. A goal for this Munch and Learn is to dismantle generational perspectives that for-profits and non-profits are extremely different.
Bring your Brown Bag lunch and gather for a time of inspiration and aspiration.
Our Munch and Learn series are informal chats with a subject matter expert (SME). Format is a roundtable discussion, lots of Q&A and Networking.
You will get back 10x the effort you put forth by meeting other entrepreneurs whom you occasionally cross paths with at Project 3810. You can talk with your mouth full, as long as we understand each other! Sometimes we even get off-topic!
