Women’s Voices: Processing the Election

This kickoff event will be an opportunity for women to discuss their concerns and range of emotions in response to current US sociopolitical events, cultural trends, and leadership that have harmed and will continue to be detrimental to women's lives. The goal of the group is to create a community of trust between women who are interested in supporting each other’s feelings, needs, reproductive rights, health, and equality.
The goal of this meeting is to have a safe and sacred place to hear each other’s deepest concerns and to begin to form community – a community that is not electronic, but is personal and real.

The discussion and support group will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Waynesville. The location at the church will be provided to those who RSVP. This is a secular event, and the church has graciously offered space for us to meet in privacy and safety.
