Mixed Nuts Game Night on Saturday, 11/30/24 at Meeting Street Cafe Prov. 6:30 PM

Mixed Nuts Leader Eich is scheduling a Board game night at The Meeting Street Cafe, 220 Meeting Street, Providence, RI at 6:00 PM Saturday night, November 30th, 2024.
We've had a blast at our past Mixed Nuts' game nights so let's recreate the magic.
So let's spend a fun Thanksgiving weekencd evening in Rhode island's capital city playing and teaching to others board games that we love and cherish!
I will bring several board games that I like but all members who come are encouraged to bring at least 1 of their beloved games (if not more) and patiently teach them to other members. If the group is big (more than 8 members) we can also break up into two or more different tables and members can play there with excess people.
I am intentionally scheduling this group when Brown University is not in session so we can enjoy the setting (which is on the Brown campus and is a popular meeting place for brown students) more intimately. If members enjoy this board game group and it is successful, I will gladly schedule another group there
I will be honest with ya, parking on and around Thayer Street can be a real bi-ch so please be prepared to park far away from meeting Street if you have to and then walking a bit.
But, the food is so good at Meeting Street Cafe that it will make up for the hike, trust me! there are all sorts of breakfast and dinner items and they are all yummy!
Plus, the best part about the cafe is that it's BYOB (bring your own beverage!). Customers should feel free to bring any beverage of their choice (except alcohol please) and they can use the money they are saving on drinks to purchase more food. Please don't repeat this, but i once brought a huge bottle of water, a 2-liter bottle of ginger ale and three different flavored Powerade bottles into this Cafe - and you can too!
And you don't have to be a Board game junkie or anything to join in on the fun. You can never have played a board game for 30 years and you will still be included. I have patiently taught many board games that I love to may people at groups like this one and I can vouch for all my members in Mixed Nuts - they will be very patient and understanding in teaching you board games that they adore - and, I guarantee it, a fun time will be had by all! So come and enjoy whether you are a hard-core gamer - or a ham-and-egger like me!
