What we’re about
The Puente Hills Preserve is 4,000 acres of open-space located within a 30-minute drive from nearly anywhere in Los Angeles and Orange County.
One of the amazing things about living near the Puente Hills is that there are so many hiking trails that you can enjoy. Whether you love to hike or are just starting to explore our group is a terrific place for those people who enjoy getting to know others who share common interests.
Get exercise, Make new friends, Respect the environment, Give back to the community, and Laugh a lot.
Our members are comprised of singles, married couples and families mainly from the early twenties to the late sixties and beyond. Free guided hikes are generally for most levels; from the usual easy 2 mile hikes with minimal elevation gain to 5-mile expeditions with significant elevation gain. Hikes and events may be scheduled on any day of the week and usually last between 2-3 hours. Join us on one of our hikes and savor the natural wonders and beauty that surround us. Hope to see you on the trail soon!
