What we’re about
About PyMNtos
PyMNtos (pronounced pie-min-tose) is a Twin Cities group of Python enthusiasts. Some of us use Python every day in our work. Some of us are just hobbyists. Others are just learning. Whoever you are and whatever your skill level is, we would love for you to join us. There is no membership fee or any other barrier to entry.

Speakers/topics
• Peter Sullivan, Solutions Architect @ Temporal - Build Reliable Python Applications, Faster: Durable Execution with Temporal
Building modern distributed applications requires us, as developers and engineers, to consider all the things that can go wrong, both internal and external to our application, during application execution. We spend countless hours on homegrown solutions to increase our application's reliability which, while important, comes at the expense of delivering business functionality and value. In this presentation we will explore Temporal, a Durable Execution platform and programming model, for improving both runtime reliability and development-time velocity for modern Python applications.
Temporal is an open source programming model that can simplify your code, make your applications more reliable, and help you deliver more features faster.
• Steve Banks, Improving - Temporal in the Wild
9:00 - Wrap up and Disperse
• Happy Hour! Join us for happy hour after the meeting for further merriment and discussions of Python. We'll be meeting either in the Improving kitchen or nearby at Sociable Cider Werks; details at the meeting.
