Coding Challenge!

Join our monthly meetup about all things Python at Trade Me's office at 181 High Street. Doors open at 5:30pm, with the talk starting at 6:30pm. Trade Me is generously providing food and drinks.

Look for a glass door with a sign mentioning the meetup and head upstairs to the Trade Me office. Call the phone number on the sign if you arrive late and the door is closed.

This month we'll be working in teams on a shared coding challenge. Bring a Python equipped laptop if you're able to. The process will be:

1. Decide on a challenge. If I have enough time to get things ready we might be able to work on autonomous tank bots where teams can play off their algorithms against each other.
2. Break into teams and work on a solution.
3. Come back to together and compare approaches.

We haven't done one of these for a while but they're always fun and a great way to learn some new skills and techniques. Beginners are very welcome - we will balance out the skill levels on each team.
