What we’re about
Love reading books? Love reading books even more if they feature queer women in prominent roles? Then join us for our queer ladies book club! My wife and I are located in Berea, and would love to meet other individuals around NEO who read queer fiction. Whether it is sci-fi, contemporary romance, or whatever interests you at the moment, we're looking to get a group together to eat good food, drink good drinks (alcoholic or non), and talk about the characters and plots we're frustrated or fascinated by.
Each month, members will vote on a book selected by the month's "host." Meetings will occur near the second Friday of each month and hosts may choose to hold the meeting at their home, local restaurant/bar/park/library, or alternate location (read:our house in Berea) and will start the group off with some questions about the chosen book. Love the book? Hate it? Well, let's chat about it. Each member will have a chance to host, so no matter what, you'll get to share your favorite story.
All single individuals, partnered peoples, and everyone between and beyond are welcome to join. At this point, no dues are required, but please be prepared to bring a snack or drink to any meeting if you are able.
